About

Trained to design spaces. Now I design products.

I’m Nana-Fatimah, a product designer in Lagos, NG. For about five years I’ve designed product, brand and web for healthcare, fintech, manufacturing and home services teams.

To: product teams building something complex,

let’s make it feel simple.

The short version

I started in architecture, where you learn fast that people feel a space before they understand it. That instinct is what I bring to product teams. I care how something feels the moment someone opens it, not just whether the flow technically works.

I’ve worked inside early-stage teams and larger organisations, doing product UX, UX writing, brand and web builds. I’m comfortable being the only designer in the room, turning a founder’s half-formed idea into wireframes and defending decisions with reasoning, not just taste.

Before I open Figma, I want to understand the business goal, not just the brief. That’s why the work moves the numbers a startup cares about.

Where I’ve been

  1. FeldyProduct DesignerJul 2025 — now

Led the Feldy Field App redesign, now live on iOS and Android with a 5.0 App Store rating. Also designed the Feldy website and marketing.

  2. TeleFirst MedProduct DesignerApr 2025 — Jun 2025

Redesigned a patient-facing telehealth platform for 500+ patients and shipped a simpler booking flow that lifted engagement by 20%. Also designed and built the Webflow site.

  3. SymmexUX ResearcherOct 2024 — Jan 2025

Led research for a manufacturing execution system. 12 interviews and 3 on-site observations surfaced pain points in 70% of workflows and shaped a compliance-driven redesign.

  4. Solve.money (London)Product DesignerOct 2022 — Mar 2023

Redesigned onboarding and the loan application flow, cutting abandonment by 15%. Used Hotjar and Mixpanel to find where people got stuck.

  5. ClafiyaProduct DesignerJan 2022 — Mar 2022

Led research and usability testing for a hybrid healthcare system (mobile + USSD), improving appointment booking and medication adherence.

How I work

Architecture taught me to measure before I build. Every project runs through the same four moves.

  1. 01

    Understand

Talk to the people doing the work and find the real problem behind the brief.

Symmex: 12 interviews, 3 site visits

  2. 02

    Explore

Sketch several directions and argue with my own first idea before anyone else has to.

    idea #1 rarely survives

  3. 03

    Build

Prototype it, write the words and put it in front of real users and engineers.

    Figma → code → hands

  4. 04

    Refine

Ship, watch how it’s used, then close the gap between assumption and reality.

Feldy: two flows rebuilt after launch
